Alotta Fun Childcare began in 2007 and expanded to our current Out of School Care location in 2012. After a major leak caused the ceiling of our original site to collapse in 2018, we shifted our full focus to OSC \u2014 the age group we\u2019ve always loved working with most.<\/p>\n

Over the years, we\u2019ve faced challenges, including COVID, but our commitment to strong relationships with children and families has never changed. We\u2019re proud to be a long\u2011standing part of the community and even prouder when former students return to visit.<\/p>\n

      Our approach to child guidance is rooted in respect, understanding, and positive relationships. We focus on preventing challenging situations before they occur by planning engaging activities, observing children\u2019s needs, and creating a supportive environment.<\/p>\n

      When conflicts arise, staff use re\u2011direction<\/strong>, problem\u2011solving<\/strong>, and guided discussions<\/strong> to help children understand their choices and learn new skills. We never use time\u2011outs, humiliation, or any form of punitive discipline.<\/p>\n

                                    We kindly remind families that tuition and fees are due on a set date each month. Timely payment ensures your child\u2019s continued enrollment, even during vacations or absences.<\/p>\n

                                    Late Payments<\/strong>: If payment is received after the 10th of the month, a $25 late fee will be applied.<\/p>\n

                                    Payment Method<\/strong>: For your convenience, we encourage families to set up payments through the Lillio app, which typically processes transactions around the 4th or 5th of each month.<\/p>\n

                                    Withdrawal Notice<\/strong>: If you plan to withdraw your child, a 30-day notice must be given to help us plan accordingly.<\/p>\n

                                    Non-Payment<\/strong>: If payment is delayed or missed, the center will reach out to you. Please note that prolonged non-payment may result in a loss of enrollment.<\/p>\n

                                    Refunds and Cancellations<\/strong>: Refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with the center\u2019s policies.<\/p>\n

Why spend hundreds of dollars on buying an outfit you will wear once or twice when you can borrow, enjoy, and return it? This system makes finding an outfit for an event easy, affordable, and zero-waste. Let’s explore how different communities are utilizing clothing libraries.<\/p>\n

                                                                  College campuses are leading the movement of clothing libraries. In college, students feel the need to keep up with trends and never repeat an outfit. That, however, isn\u2019t realistic. Many schools have implemented clothing libraries, offering a selection of clothing for events like game day to formals, to business meetings. Studies show that women in college are more likely to browse a clothing library for an outfit due to its affordability, sustainability, and convenience. So, next time you have a themed party or event, check out the library for some niche accessories; save your money and the environment.<\/p>\n

                                                                  Many major cities are also starting to pick up on the whole idea of exchanging clothing amongst each other. You can find anything from prom dresses to baby clothing to winter coats for the ever-changing seasons. Not only are you limiting fast fashion consumption (benefitting the environment) but also providing an affordable way to get new clothes when growing and evolving in fashion. Community clothing libraries have dramatically decreased textile waste and increased product reuse.<\/p>\n

                                                                  Small designers and software companies are creating rental systems that replicate that of an Airbnb for clothing! Apps let anyone post items from their own closets to then either ship them out or maybe even deliver the clothing. Users can browse nearby wardrobes, get the outfits quickly, and return them, allowing \u201cuseless\u201d pieces to regain life and longevity. This system creates micro-communities centered around shared style and makes fashion feel more social, while staying ethical.<\/p>\n

                                                                  Clothing libraries, whether on campuses, in communities, or through boutiques and apps, are demonstrating that fashion doesn\u2019t have to rely on constant purchases to fit in or be happy. So, next time you have an ugly sweater-themed party or need a blue tie to match your date\u2019s prom dress, find out if your community has a clothing library you can browse. If not, consider bringing one to where you live!
